The “AI4DOST Social Award 2026” competition has been announced as part of the “SOCGOV 2026 – Digital Analytics for Smart Governance” International Forum, which will be held in the city of Khankendi this October.

The competition aims to identify, recognize, and promote best practices, innovative solutions, and high-impact initiatives in the social sector, ensuring their broader visibility and dissemination.

The international competition will be held in the following four categories:

AI- Driven Digital Solutions in the Social Sector – Projects that leverage artificial intelligence and digital technologies to enhance the delivery of social services and the management of social welfare.

Social Volunteering and Civic Initiatives – Volunteer activities, community-based projects, and initiatives that support vulnerable groups.

Scientific Contribution to Social Sector Development – Research projects and analytical approaches in the fields of social policy, social services, and social governance.

Regional Social Initiative – Sustainable, locally driven projects aimed at addressing social challenges in the regions.

In addition, the following individual local nominations have been announced within the framework of the competition:

- Young Social Innovator of the Year
- Social Transformation Leader / Entrepreneur
- Continuous Contribution to the Development of the Social Sector

Applications for participation in the competition will be accepted from 15 July to 1 September 2026 through the official website: https://socgov.az.

The award ceremony is scheduled to take place as part of the SOCGOV 2026 International Forum.
