The SOCGOV 2025 Conference dedicated to the application of artificial intelligence in the social sphere will be held on October 24 at the Gulustan Palace in Baku.

The aim of the event is to promote the responsible and human-centered use of artificial intelligence in the field of social governance.

The conference will bring together government institutions, technological leaders, local and foreign experts, and will play an important role in the future digitalization of services and the dissemination of social innovations. It will mark the first step toward the establishment of a long-term international platform.

According to Farid Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency, one of the organizers of the conference, this will be the first event of its kind in Azerbaijan:

“The idea of the conference stems from the activities of the DOST Agency. The Agency is consistently engaged in implementing innovations in the social sphere, and today, the Azerbaijani model attracts great interest not only within the country but also internationally.”

According to Sona Sadıxlı, an employee of the Agency, volunteers will also take an active part in the event:

“The young people involved in the preparation process will gain valuable experience in organizing an international conference. By participating in various training programs, they will enhance their communication skills and gain professional development through direct interaction with local and international guests.”

It should be noted that representatives from around 20 countries will attend the SOCGOV 2025 Conference. The event will highlight topics such as sustainability and innovation in social protection, while experts will discuss digital government and AI-driven transformation, AI in social services and inclusivity, as well as the future of the labor market, skills development, and digital entrepreneurship.
